Best Lawyers compiles its lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting lengthy peer-review surveys in which lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers for legal ability, integrity, pro bono service and achievement. The lawyers honored as “Lawyers of the Year” received particularly high ratings in the surveys.
