Grace Wu-Monnat
Office Manager

Monnat & Spurrier is privileged to have the unique assistance of Grace X. Wu-Monnat as its Office Manager and trial consultant.

Grace X. Wu-Monnat was born in Shanghai, China to an ancestry rich in the traditions of the Chinese martial arts. At age 3, Grace began training with one of China's most famous and influential martial artists, her grandfather, Grandmaster Wang Ziping. Grace received her B.A in Chinese Martial Arts from Shanghai Teachers University and her Master's Degree in Sports Administration from the Wichita State University.

Besides serving as Monnat & Spurrier's Office Manager, for the past ten years Grace has wielded her prowess and creativity by regularly serving as a strategist and trial consultant to the law offices of Monnat & Spurrier.

Wichita Eagle September 27, 2007 Grace Wu-Monnat, who operates the Grace Wu Kung Fu School at 122 N. St. Francis and is also a trial consultant and officer manager for the law offices of Monnat & Spurrier, has been named to AAU Chinese Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
Julie Ramon Office Receptionist Julie Ramon joined the firm in June 2009 and works as the office receptionist and provides assistance to the rest of the staff. Julie is a graduate of Wichita State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Certificate in Forensic Criminology.
Steve Rupert Legal Assistant to Dan Monnat Steve Rupert joined the firm in December 2007 and works as Legal Assistant to Dan Monnat. Steve is a graduate of Friends University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, magna cum laude.
Mary Hosea Legal Assistant to Dan Monnat Mary Hosea joined the firm in April 2009 and works as Legal Assistant to Dan Monnat. Mary is a graduate of Las Vegas College where she received an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies with honors.
Cynthia Elwood Legal Assistant to Laura Shaneyfelt Cynthia Elwood joined the firm in July 2008 and works as Legal Assistant to all the attorneys at Monnat & Spurrier. She is a graduate of Washburn University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, minor in History.
Christina VanCuren Legal Assistant to Jim Pratt and Trevor Riddle Christina VanCuren joined the firm in December 2007. She works as Legal Assistant to Jim Pratt and Trevor Riddle.
Chris Smith Accounts Payable and Billing Chris Smith has been with Monnat & Spurrier since 1998. She works in the office part-time, assisting the office manager in various capacities.
